What is Micro-Credential? Micro-Credential is a course that provides all information into short length program that allows the learners to learn and develop new skills. It will enable the student to focus on their chosen or specific skills to enhance their professional journey. The most remarkable thing about micro-credential is that learners can earn digital badges that can reflect on their transcript of record or earn a certificate of completion (depending on the University style and format). Once earned, this can be substantial proof that they completed the program and could potentially increase their professional advancement in the specific area they are aiming for and lead them for higher-position and advanced roles. How to Create Micro-Credential Badges The process of building and creating digital badges within the course depends on what learning management system the user will use. This sample is built-in D2L BrightSpace LMS. Different learning management systems might have different placement and settings for building an efficient micro-credential badge.
Content View The content view will show each weekly content topic. Each topic are designed to linked to each other and the learners will not be able to view the next content unless they view each topic due to released conditioned in each content and activities. This view shows the release condition area to edit and control weekly access before the learners can move further. To customize the release condition, the instructional designer have the ability to edit the condition by clicking the add dates and restrictions. The create an update condition view will pop up to create or edit conditions. Artifact I: Reflective Practice and Articulation Skills Micro-credential enhances reflective practice thinking to meet the objective goals allowing the learners to brainstorm and reflect on the work experience in real-life scenario activities. The course was designed to enhance articulation skills on how fast learners can adapt the system to generate new information. This process enhances the learners' motivation and self-confidence to be effective. Artifact II: Demonstrate Continuous Improvement and Emerging Technology Implementation Micro-credentials allow learners to learn new skills in a short period. The platform was very engaging and allowed users to continue their expertise due to the program's transportable or sharable concept that will enable learners to learn multiple areas without wasting time to grow. The platform recognizes the programs through digital badges and certification to build the skills. The solution framework strengthens my understanding of the competencies to accomplish success and share a new set of knowledge involving the effective content organization. Artifact III: Providing Evaluation Feedback To achieve the learning solution outcome. The solution framework should generate feedback to consider whether the instruction matches the objectives. The process required creativity, and motivation, to effectively assess the behavior skills and engagement of the learners. In addition, facilitators' feedback is necessary to reflect on and strengthens the new skill set that will generate organic feedback to improve the solution for future revision process.

Online learning is now becoming the new trend of the new generation. Which is beneficial to working individuals to study on their own paced and time management preferences. As part of a growing online community, our University has been established for more than one hundred years and moved to a new building also decided to rebrand the name of the University. Each course needs a new template and visual imaging on their weekly module as part of the rebranding process. Our team took the responsibility to update the entire course listed in the learning management system. Creating a faculty guide for future references would be beneficial, and storing the instructional design guides template. The below content guides represent the process with the updated guidelines procedures with graphic imaging to help with the process visually. Note: This only reflects inside the individual courses update and not the process for the entire organization rebranding view. Template Features The template is created to provide a better understanding and Consistency across individual course shells and easy navigation access, ensuring the student gets the best learning experience throughout the course.
